Mike Karlen will be serving his sixth year as an assistant director. A sales supervisor with Coca-Cola, he and his wife, Susan, are the parents of two daughters, Jima and Amber. Amber served as a royal jester for the 2007 Forest Festival. Karlen is a member of the Elkins-Randolph County Chamber of Commerce, serves as a Canaan Valley Ski Instructor, and attends the First Baptist Church. His festival duties will include coordinating the Country Show, Classic Rock Show, Tennis, Communications, Seneca Trail Art Show, Horseshoes and Sanitation for this year's events.
