Robert “Robbie” Morris, Jr. will serve as the Director General for the 84th Mountain State Forest Festival, which will take place between September 26th and October 4th. This will be his sixth year with the festival.
Marstiller was born and raised in Elkins and is a graduate of Elkins High School and Davis and Elkins College. In 1985 he began his career in financial services and in 1991 co-founded Innovative Investments, Inc. He earned his Certified Financial Planner designation in 1994.

The 83rd Mountain State Forest Festival has announced the appointments of Abigail Samantha Morgan, Allison Faith Huffman, Emery Brice Snodgrass and Elliot James Harper as Royal Scouts of Maid Silvia LXXXIII.
Bridgeport resident Kaitlin Marie Smith has been selected as Maid Silvia for the 83rd Mountain State Forest Festival by Director General Robin Miller.
Mountain State Forest Festival Director General Robin Miller has announced the appointments of Christine Paige Zurbuch and Susan Elizabeth Riggleman as Maids of Honor to Queen Silvia LXXXIII. Zurbuch and Riggleman are bestowed with the highest Randolph County honors in the Forest Festival’s 83rd Royal Court.
The Royal Minor Court of Queen Silvia LXXXIII has been selected and announced by Mountain State Forest Festival Director General Robin Miller and Queen’s Department Director Melanie Dempsey.
Representing the 83rd royal court will be Crown Bearer Emma Rae Morgan, Scepter Bearer Callie James Casto, Flower Girls Gwynneth Allison Walters, Talia Michael Nucilli, Alexis Rosana DeVall and Cora Grace Herron, and Train Bearers Jackson Allen Friddle and Troy Justin Jackson.
Auditions for the Royal Trumpeteers of the 83rd Mountain State Forest Festival will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at the Elkins First United Methodist Church. There will be a mandatory parent/participant meeting beginning at 6:00 pm, with auditions immediately following the parent meeting. Any Randolph County student that will be in 9th through 12th grade for the fall 2019 term is eligible to audition.
