Anna Marie Ruf Appointed as a Princess for the 84th Mountain State Forest Festival

Mountain State Forest Festival Director Robbie Morris has announced that Anna Marie Ruf will serve as a Princess to the Royal Court of Maid Silvia LXXXIV, Caroline Marie Fluke.

Princess Anna Marie Ruf was appointed by West Virginia House of Delegates Majority Leader Amy Summers. She is the daughter of Eric and Jana Ruf of Belington. She is the granddaughter of the late Henry “Bud” and Phyllis Ruf of Parkersburg, WV and the late Robert and Joan Donaldson of Belington, WV. Princess Anna is a 2019 graduate of Philip Barbour High School where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, Class President for 4 years, Key Club President, National Honor Society Secretary, Student Council Representative, a twirler and saxophonist for the Philip Barbour Band, 2019 Prom Queen, 2018 Homecoming Queen, 2019 Principal’s Award, 2019 American Legion Award, 2016 Colt Character Award, 2018 Rhododendron Girls’ State, and a 2015 Golden Horseshoe Winner. In the fall, Anna will be a senior at Davis and Elkins College where she is majoring in Secondary Math Education and was the 2019 recipient of a full 4-year tuition Leadership and Scholarship Award. She is a member of the Honor’s Program, Dean’s List, Concert Choir, Kappa Delta Pi, Fellowship and Faith, serves as Treasurer of the Student Education Association, and works as a Student Ambassador. Anna is also a twirling instructor for the Philip Barbour High School Band.

Mountain State Forest Festival Director Robbie Morris has announced that Ani Ruth Reger will serve as a Princess to the Royal Court of Maid Silvia LXXXIV, Caroline Marie Fluke.

Princess Ani Ruth Reger was appointed by West Virginia Commissioner of Agriculture Kent Leonhardt. She is the daughter of Bradley and Melissa Reger of Elkins. She is the granddaughter of Bob and Marien Reger of Belington and Jim and Patty McCloud of Elkins. Princess Ani has one sister, Lexi Reger.  Ani is a 2019 graduate of Elkins High School where she participated in band and theater. In the fall, she will be a senior at Davis and Elkins College where she does Acrobatics and Tumbling.

Taylor Madison Phillips Appointed as a Princess for the 84th Mountain State Forest Festival

Mountain State Forest Festival Director Robbie Morris has announced that Taylor Madison Phillips will serve as a Princess to the Royal Court of Maid Silvia LXXXIV, Caroline Marie Fluke.

Princess Taylor Madison Phillips was appointed by U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito. She is the daughter of Thomas and Valerie Phillips of Elkins. She is the granddaughter of Timothy and Sandra Miller of Elkins and Lana Phillips of Elkins. Princess Taylor has two sisters, Harley Stevens and Kenzie Phillips. Taylor is a 2019 graduate of Elkins High School where she played four years of varsity soccer and basketball. In the fall she will have graduated from Randolph Technical Center School of Practical Nursing where she will earn her Licensed Practical Nurse Education and Licensing (LPN).

Mountain State Forest Festival Director Robbie Morris has announced Kaleigh Brooke Papez will serve as a Princess to the Royal Court of Maid Silvia LXXXIV, Caroline Marie Fluke.

Princess Kaleigh Brooke Papez was appointed by Mountain State Forest Festival President Ben Shaffer.  She is the daughter of Rob and Lisa Henline of Morgantown, WV and Dan and Cristy Papez of Lititiz, PA.  She is the granddaughter of Wayne and Linda Poe of Belington, and Dick and Dottie Papez of Lancaster, PA.  She has one brother, Blake Papez and two sisters, Jackie Papez and Lilly Henline.

Princess Kaleigh is a 2021 graduate of Morgantown High School where she was a 4-year member of Student Council and an AP scholar.  She was a member of both National Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society, a member of Younglife and a 4-year member and captain of the swim team.  In the fall, she will be a junior at West Virginia University where she is in the Masters of Occupational Therapy Program and an honors student.

Rachel Alice Morgan Appointed as a Princess for the 84th Mountain State Forest Festival

Mountain State Forest Festival Director Robbie Morris has announced Rachel Alice Morgan will serve as a Princess to the Royal Court of Maid Silvia LXXXIV, Caroline Marie Fluke.

Princess Rachel Alice Morgan was appointed by Mountain State Forest Festival Director General Robbie Morris and is the daughter of Timothy and Shawn Morgan of Bridgeport, WV.  She is the granddaughter of Donna and Jim Comer of Apple Grove, WV and Sue Morgan and the late Rev. Sterling Morgan of Lewisburg, WV.  She has one brother, Luke Morgan.

Princess Rachel is a 2021 graduate of Bridgeport High School where she was a four-year member of the tennis team, was on the honor roll, participated in Student Council and attended WV Rhododendron Girls State.  In the fall, she will be a sophomore at West Virginia University where she studies marketing.  She will serve as a peer mentor in the John Chambers College of Business and Economics and is on the dean’s list.  In the fall of 2021, Rachel served as the social chair of the WVU Collegiate 4-H club.  Currently she serves as the club’s social media chair.  She is also a 4-H Allstar.

Mountain State Forest Festival Director Robbie Morris has announced Ella Esta-Mae Moats will serve as a Princess to the Royal Court of Maid Silvia LXXXIV, Caroline Marie Fluke.

Princess Ella Esta-Mae Moats was appointed by Mountain State Forest Festival President Ben Shaffer. She is the daughter of Christopher and Leslie Moats of Morgantown, WV.  She is the granddaughter of Bill and Linda McCollam of Elkins, WV and Ron Moats and Shirley Hess of Morgantown, WV.  She has one brother, Cyrus Moats.

Princess Ella is a 2022 graduate of Morgantown High School where she was a member of National Honors Society, Green Initiative Club and was a majorette in the Morgantown High School Band.  In the fall, she will be a freshman at West Virginia University where she is enrolled at the Honors College and majoring in Biology.

Mountain State Forest Festival Director Robbie Morris has announced that Haley Brooke McCauley will serve as a Princess to the Royal Court of Maid Silvia LXXXIV, Caroline Marie Fluke.

Princess Haley Brooke McCauley was appointed by U.S. Congressman David McKinley. She is the daughter of Michael McCauley of Beverly and Tonya Weasenforth of New Port Richey, Florida. She is the granddaughter of Wayne McCauley of Dailey,WV and Karen McDaniel and Brenda McCauley of Beverly, WV. Princess Haley has two brothers, Michael McCauley II and Dominic Weasenforth, and one sister, Adelynn Weasenforth. Haley is a 2020 graduate of Elkins High School where she was a varsity softball player and an honor roll student. In the fall she will be a junior at Coastal Carolina University where she is on the Presidents list, sorority, and clubs.

Lindsay Brooke Maxwell Appointed as a Princess for the 84th Mountain State Forest Festival

Mountain State Forest Festival Director Robbie Morris has announced that Lindsay Brooke Maxwell will serve as a Princess to the Royal Court of Maid Silvia LXXXIV, Caroline Marie Fluke.

Princess, Lindsay Brooke Maxwell, was appointed by the Monongahela National Forest Supervisor, Shawn Cochran. She is the daughter of Kenneth and Michelle Maxwell of Elkins. She is the granddaughter of Robert Dennis and Buelah Jean Ramsey of Beverly and Kenneth and Rose Maxwell of Cadiz, Ohio. Princess Lindsay has one sister, Samantha. Lindsay is a 2021 graduate of Elkins High School, where she graduated in the top 10% and was a member of the National Technical Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. She was also the flute section leader and band commander of the EHS Marching Band. Lindsay participated in the Mumon Shotokan Karate and completed in Law and Public Safety at the Randolph County Vocational Technical Center. In the fall she will be a sophomore at West Virginia University where she is on the President’s List, a member of the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, WVU criminology club, and WVU concert band.

Brooklyn Dakota Maxwell Appointed as a Princess for the 84th Mountain State Forest Festival

Mountain State Forest Festival Director Robbie Morris has announced Brooklyn Dakota Maxwell will serve as a Princess to the Royal Court of Maid Silvia LXXXIV, Caroline Marie Fluke.

Princess Brooklyn Dakota Maxwell was appointed by Mountain State Forest Festival President Ben Shaffer.  She is the daughter of Joe and Pam Maxwell of Buckhannon, WV.  She is the granddaughter of Fred and Linda Maxwell of Parsons, WV and Brian and Theresa Samples of Buckhannon, WV.  She a two sisters, Ashton and Kenna and two stepbrothers, Connor and Rowen.

Princess Brooklyn is a 2020 graduate of Buckhannon-Upshur High School where she was an honor roll student, a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, girls basketball team (4-year letterman), and girls soccer team (3-year letterman).  She was 2nd team all-region in soccer, 2nd team all-conference and honorable mention all-state in basketball, team captain and back-to-back state runner ups Big 10 champs basketball.  In the fall, she will be a junior at Davis & Elkins College where she is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Kapp Delta Pi, and was on the Presidents List last spring.  She is also a member of the Student Education Association.

Mountain State Forest Festival Director Robbie Morris has announced that Jocelyn Marie Martin will serve as a Princess to the Royal Court of Maid Silvia LXXXIV, Caroline Marie Fluke.

Princess Jocelyn Marie Martin was appointed by U.S. Senator, Joe Manchin III. She is the daughter of John and Danelle Martin of Kerens. She is the granddaughter of Charles and Karen Harper of Napier, WV and Bob and Sheila Martin of Beckley, WV. Princess Jocelyn has one sister, Hannah Martin, and one brother, Camden Martin.  Jocelyn is a 2020 graduate of Elkins High School where she was on the National Honor Society, Rhododendron Girls State, and was the president of Future Business Leaders of America. She was also a member of the track and field team. In the fall, she will be a senior at the University of Charleston where she is majoring in Radiologic Technology and maintaining a 4.0 grade point average and Presidential list.
